New Delhi, January 10, 2025 – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Virendraa Sachdeva has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of attempting to defame the national capital. Sachdeva’s remarks came in response to recent criticisms and controversies surrounding Kejriwal’s governance and his handling of various issues in the city. The BJP leader stated that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government was deliberately undermining Delhi’s image for political gains.
In his statement, Sachdeva emphasized that Kejriwal’s actions were damaging the reputation of Delhi, which is the heart of the nation. He alleged that the Chief Minister’s recent statements and decisions were part of a broader strategy to create a negative narrative about the capital. The BJP has been critical of Kejriwal’s policies, especially in regard to governance, law and order, and corruption. Sachdeva called on the people of Delhi to be cautious of such attempts to malign their city’s image for political purposes.
