Bengaluru: A young woman has been brutally murdered and her body cut into 32 pieces in the Vayalikaval Police Station limits of Bengaluru. Police suspect the crime was committed around 4-5 days ago. The woman, who is originally from another state, had been residing in Bengaluru for some time.
Police discovered the crime scene with the victim’s body parts stored in a refrigerator inside her residence. Police officials are currently on the scene, and a detailed investigation is underway.
As of now, no further information about the motive or suspects has been released. Updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
The incident took place around 10:30 am on Friday. The accused reportedly entered the washroom and locked himself in one of the cubicles. He then tried to film the girls by holding his phone near the adjoining cubicle. A few minutes later, one of the girls spotted the phone hanging from the cubicle and raised an alarm. Other students quickly gathered and confronted the accused, who had locked himself inside.
Despite repeated knocks and attempts to get a response, there was no reply from inside the locked cubicle. The students then broke into the cubicle and found the accused, leading to his arrest.
