Bangkok, April 2, 2025: A Bangladesh delegation attended the 25th BIMSTEC Senior Officials’ Meeting in Bangkok to discuss regional cooperation and economic integration. The meeting focused on trade, connectivity, security, and sustainable development, with Bangladesh reaffirming its commitment to strengthening BIMSTEC partnerships.
The delegation emphasized initiatives in trade facilitation, disaster management, and energy collaboration while calling for greater digital connectivity and climate resilience efforts. The discussions are expected to shape future cooperation ahead of the upcoming BIMSTEC Summit.
