    Mumbai, October 16: NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui was brutally murdered last Saturday night. Siddiqui’s murder created a political sensation before the Maharashtra elections. It was announced that Siddiqui was shot dead by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang themselves. Bishnoi gang member Shubham Rameshwar Lankar warned in a Facebook post that they have no personal enmity with anyone, but whoever associates with gangster Dawood Ibrahim and helps Salman Khan will correct their accounts.

    In this case, Mumbai police identified four accused and arrested two of them. During the investigation, the accused revealed many shocking things. It was revealed in police investigation that they learned to shoot guns by watching YouTube. Living in a rented house in Mumbai’s Kurla area, he learned how to shoot a gun by watching YouTube videos. It was revealed that since there was no open place to learn to shoot a gun, they learned by making videos for four weeks in the brick room. He also said that he learned the details of how to load and unload the gun through YouTube.

    While the police have arrested Gurmail Singh and Dharmaraj Kashap, who are accused in this case, the main shooter Shivakumar Gautam is currently absconding. The fourth accused, Harish Kumar Balakram Nisad, was arrested in Uttar Pradesh on Monday and brought to Mumbai. Gautam did not need special training in the use of weapons since he took part in the ceremonial firing in his hometown Bahraich. It is known that he was appointed as the main shooter. Gautam Singh and Kashyap used to practice dry in a rented room. That means they learned to shoot without bullets. In the investigation, it was revealed that the accused used social media platforms extensively. An official said they interacted with each other through social media apps like Instagram and Snapchat to avoid surveillance.

    In a Facebook post, Shubham Lonkar, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, asked all the accused to communicate through apps. It is also known that 25 days before the murder, Varuku Siddiqui’s residence and office were spied on. Shubham Lonkar, brother of Praveen Lonkar, is one of the arrested accused who is involved in the use of social media apps. In January, the police arrested Shubham Lonkar in an Arms Act case. But he got out on bail. A police officer said that the search operation is going on to arrest the fugitive Shivakumar Gautam and the mastermind Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar.
