    ASU Expands in India: Plans AI-Enhanced ‘Agentic’ University

    New Delhi, February 15, 2025: Arizona State University (ASU) is expanding its presence in India through partnerships with universities and plans for an AI-enhanced “agentic” university, ASU President Michael M. Crow announced. The university has already collaborated with five Indian institutions and aims to extend this to 10 universities, providing Indian students with dual-degree programs and digital learning resources.

    Crow also highlighted ASU’s interest in leveraging India’s New Education Policy (NEP) and UGC norms, which now allow foreign universities to establish campuses in the country. ASU is exploring the creation of a cutting-edge AI-driven university in India, integrating American and Indian educational methodologies to offer students a globally competitive academic experience.
