Golaghat, December 14, 2024 – Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed grants and relief to beneficiaries under various welfare schemes during a ceremony in Golaghat. The initiative was part of the state’s efforts to support agricultural development, rural infrastructure, and social welfare programs. A significant portion of the aid was directed toward farmers, with key programs like Rashtriya Krishi Vikash Yojna (RKVY) and National Food Security Mission (NFSM) offering subsidized tools and high-quality seeds to boost agricultural productivity.

One of the key initiatives included the distribution of tractors under the Chief Minister Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana (CMSGUY), designed to enhance agricultural efficiency in rural villages.
