Araku Valley, February 1, 2025: The scenic Araku Valley is hosting the vibrant Araku Chali Utsav 2025, a three-day festival concluding on February 2. Large crowds of tourists and locals are enjoying the celebrations, which feature cultural performances showcasing tribal traditions from seven states. District Collector Dinesh Kumar and officials have made extensive arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
The festival’s main attraction is paragliding, inaugurated by Collector Dinesh Kumar and other officials. Thrilling visitors, paragliders are soaring from heights of 200 feet with a professional team from Pune participating. Plans are underway to make paragliding a permanent adventure sport in the region, promoting tourism with local community involvement. The event is seeing a significant weekend turnout.
