    APSRTC to Run 3,500 Special Buses for Maha Shivaratri Pilgrims

    Amaravati, February 14 – The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will operate 3,500 special buses for Maha Shivaratri, providing transportation to 99 major Shaiva temples across the state. The highest number of buses will serve YSR district (12 temples), followed by Nellore (9), Tirupati (9), and Nandyal (7) districts. Special services will be available to Shaiva temples in all districts except Sri Sathy Sai, with buses also running from all depots and major towns to Srisailam.

    APSRTC expects to generate Rs. 11 crore in revenue from these special services during the festival. This initiative aims to ensure smooth travel for devotees, enabling them to easily visit various Shaiva shrines for the occasion.
