Vijayawada, January 28, 2025: To facilitate the pilgrimage to the Maha Kumbh Mela, APSRTC will operate special buses from Vijayawada to Uttar Pradesh, covering key religious sites like Prayagraj, Ayodhya, and Kashi. The 8-day trip will cover 3,600 kilometers, with buses departing on February 1 and returning on February 8. The itinerary includes stops in Prayagraj, Ayodhya, and Varanasi, with a stay in each location.
Fare details include Super Luxury at ₹8,000, Starliner Non-AC Sleeper at ₹11,000, and Vennela AC Sleeper at ₹14,500. Meals and accommodation will be at the passengers’ expense. Advance reservations can be made online or at bus stations. Special buses are available for groups of 35 or 29 devotees, with additional services from Kovvur and Rajahmundry already fully booked.
