Amaravati, April 4, 2025: The Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS) has invited tenders for the first phase of the ₹600 crore APNRT Icon Tower in Amaravati, with submissions open until April 10. Spanning five acres, the 36-floor twin-tower project is being revived by the coalition government, with completion targeted for 2028.
Funded by NRIs, the project features a 33-story residential and office complex, expected to create 30,000 jobs. It includes a four-story commercial section with a globe-shaped structure offering a 360-degree view of Amaravati. Initially launched by Chandrababu Naidu but stalled under the YSRCP government, the project has now resumed after clearing legal hurdles.
