Distressed by financial issues, the man sent a video to his family, who immediately alerted the police. Using advanced technology, the police traced his location and intervened in time, earning praise from Konaseema SP B. Krishna Rao for their swift action.
The incident occurred late Monday night when the youth was located in a lodge in Annavaram. Acting on the alert at 11:21 PM, IT core constable Jaffer traced the location despite the phone being switched off. By 11:27 PM, Annavaram SI Sriharibabu reached the lodge, broke in, and rescued the individual. The man was counseled and safely reunited with his family, highlighting the critical role of quick coordination and technology in life-saving efforts.
