Amaravati, February 17, 2025 — Andhra Pradesh Minister Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy (DBV Swamy) stated that former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi was arrested for threatening a Dalit individual, asserting that the law is being upheld. He dismissed claims that the coalition government delayed action and defended the arrest as justified.
The minister criticized the previous YSRCP government for filing false cases and highlighted the coalition’s quick reforms, including increasing pensions to ₹4,000 and launching welfare schemes like Talli ki Vandana and Annadata Sukhibhava. He added that the government is repaying debts left by the Jagan administration while ensuring development without burdening the people.
