Amaravati, February 11, 2025: The Andhra Pradesh government is expediting preparations for the 2025 annual budget. Finance Minister P. Keshav is assessing current financial year allocations, expenditure, and projected spending while holding meetings with departmental ministers to finalize budget proposals.
Priority is being given to drafting a comprehensive budget aligned with government priorities and manifesto promises. Discussions have been held with key departments, including Water Resources, Social Welfare, and Minority Welfare, with Finance Secretary Piyush Kumar and senior officials contributing to the process.
