Amaravati, February 24, 2025: Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker K. Ayyannapatrudu reviewed arrangements for the 2025 Assembly and Legislative Council sessions, attended by key officials. He directed authorities to ensure strict security and requested cooperation from the police. MLAs and MLCs will attend the session at 9:30 AM on the day of the Governor’s address, and visitors meeting the Chief Minister were advised to do so at the CM’s office instead of the Assembly premises.
The state government is set to present its first full-fledged budget since the coalition government took office. The Assembly sessions begin Monday, with the Governor’s address followed by a decision on session duration. The 2025-26 budget, focusing on election promises, will be presented on February 28, with discussions expected to continue for about three weeks.
