Annamalai Slams Stalin: Calls Out ‘Hypocrisy’ in Three-Language Policy Row

Chennai, March 27, 2025 — Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai slammed Chief Minister M.K. Stalin for opposing the three-language policy in the National Education Policy (NEP), calling it hypocritical. He pointed out that private schools attended by DMK leaders’ families follow a trilingual curriculum, questioning why government school students shouldn’t have the same opportunity.

Annamalai accused the DMK government of imposing an outdated education policy that limits students’ competitiveness. He highlighted that many private schools linked to DMK leaders follow CBSE’s trilingual approach, exposing a double standard. His remarks come after Stalin rejected Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s push for the policy, citing states’ rights concerns.
