Kumaraswamy addressed a press meet at the Visakha Steel Plant, following the announcement of an ₹11,440 crore revival package for Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), or Vizag Steel Plant. The announcement also reinforces the commitment to Andhra Pradesh’s development, encapsulated in the slogan “Visakha Ukku, Andhrula Hakku” (Vizag Steel is the right of Andhra Pradesh). Kumaraswamy emphasized that this initiative reflects the aspirations of the people of the state. The event saw the participation of MPs, legislators from the NDA alliance, senior RINL officials, employees, and workers, all united in the goal to bring prosperity to the region and further strengthen India’s steel industry.
