Amaravati, February 5: The Union Railway Budget 2025 has brought a significant boost for Andhra Pradesh with an allocation of ₹9,417 crores. Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, alongside Andhra Pradesh’s State Human Resource Development and IT Minister Shri Nara Lokesh, expressed their gratitude to the Central Government for prioritizing the state’s rail infrastructure development.
The ministers highlighted the pivotal role of this allocation in accelerating ongoing projects, improving connectivity, and supporting economic growth across the state. This substantial funding reaffirms the Central Government’s commitment to enhancing the region’s rail network, which is expected to bolster trade, tourism, and employment opportunities.
