Visakhapatnam, December 14, 2024: Andhra Pradesh police have seized 318 kg of cannabis from a vehicle in the Parvathipuram Manyam district in a major drug bust. Two individuals were arrested during the operation and are currently in custody as authorities conduct further investigations.
The police had been closely monitoring the region due to a rise in cannabis smuggling activities in recent months. This seizure is part of a sustained effort by law enforcement to curb the illegal drug trade, especially in districts like Parvathipuram Manyam, which have become hotspots for such activities.
