    Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh Vows to Resolve Issues of Private Colleges and ITIs

    Amaravati, February 4, 2025 – Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh met with representatives from private educational associations to discuss key issues. Concerns raised included the need for a specific policy on intermediate college affiliations, restoring RTF and MTF facilities, reducing delinquent fees for college transfers, and including a private junior college association member in the board committee. Additionally, a welfare fund for unaided teachers and staff was requested due to low salaries.

    The associations also stressed the importance of linking ITIs with industries, providing job opportunities, and updating the polytechnic syllabus and examination system. IT Minister Nara Lokesh assured the representatives that their concerns would be addressed. MLCs Paruchuri Ashok Babu, Kancharla Srikanth, Bhumireddy Ramgopal Reddy, and Vepada Chiranjeevi attended the meeting.
