Vijayawada, April 14, 2025 – The Andhra Pradesh government has launched a ₹350 crore initiative to address traffic congestion in Vijayawada by expanding four key roads. The CRDA will oversee these projects, including the Enikepadu Shakti Kalyana Mandapam Road, which will be completed by month-end after development at ₹3.34 crores.
Additionally, Mahānādu Road will be extended to Nidamanuru, connecting to National Highway 16, and Ballemvari Street will be widened from 40-50 feet to 80 feet. A new road will also be constructed near Ayush Hospital. These efforts are expected to ease traffic and improve connectivity for the city’s residents.
