
Amaravati, February 14 – The Andhra Pradesh government is finalizing its first comprehensive budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year, aiming to balance welfare and development while honoring manifesto commitments. Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav has reviewed 28 departments, ensuring alignment with central government schemes and efficient resource utilization.
Ahead of presenting the budget on February 28, the Finance Minister is holding pre-budget meetings with department officials, discussing proposals for key sectors like education, healthcare, agriculture, and urban development. The budget is expected to prioritize electricity and urban development, with a focus on Amaravati, and ensure proper utilization of central funds in line with the government’s priorities.
