    Andhra Pradesh Cabinet Approves ₹2,733 Crore in Key Development Projects

    Amaravati, January 2, 2025: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet approved ₹2,733 crores worth of projects in a meeting at the Secretariat. Among the key decisions, the Cabinet approved two projects from the 44th CRDA meeting and the Municipal Laws Amendment Ordinance, which will transfer permit issuance powers to municipalities for building constructions and layouts.

    The Cabinet also approved the creation of 19 new positions in the Pithapuram Area Development Authority and sanctioned the expansion of the ESI Hospital in Tirupati to 100 beds, along with the construction of another 100-bed ESI hospital in Guntur’s Pattipadu mandal. Additionally, the SIPB’s approval of ₹1,82,162 crores in investments is expected to generate over 2.6 lakh jobs.

    Further, investments worth ₹1,174 crores by Balaji Action Buildwell Private Limited in Rambilli, Anakapalli district, were approved. The Cabinet also endorsed ₹83,000 crores in investments for five new clean energy companies, boosting sustainable development and job creation in the state.
