Amaravati, April 11, 2025 — Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of turning investments into real outcomes during the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting. He directed officials to ensure timely implementation of approved projects and to create a portal to track jobs generated by each company. The CM stressed that visible results at the grassroots level are essential for the success of investment efforts.
The SIPB approved ₹31,617 crore in investments from 16 companies in sectors like IT, energy, and food processing, expected to generate over 32,000 jobs. TCS alone will set up a ₹1,370 crore center in Visakhapatnam, creating 12,000 jobs. Minister Lokesh suggested allocating land at nominal rates for IT firms to attract more investors, a proposal that the CM welcomed by ordering revisions to the state’s IT policy.
