New Delhi, January 7 – Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated Bharatpol, a new portal developed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to strengthen India’s fight against terrorism and enhance internal security. The digital platform aims to provide centralized access to critical intelligence, enabling swift collaboration among law enforcement agencies across the country.
Speaking at the launch event, Amit Shah emphasized the government’s commitment to leveraging technology to address modern security threats. He lauded the CBI’s efforts in developing Bharatpol, calling it a significant step toward building a robust security infrastructure. The portal is expected to facilitate real-time sharing of information on criminal activities, organized crime networks, and terrorism-related data, thereby aiding investigative and preventive measures. Shah reiterated the importance of inter-agency cooperation in safeguarding the nation against evolving security challenges.
