Srinagar, February 18, 2025: Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a review meeting to assess the implementation of new criminal laws in Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting focused on the progress of law enforcement agencies in enforcing the legal provisions, with senior officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs and J&K’s law enforcement agencies in attendance.
Amit Shah highlighted the importance of swift law implementation to improve security and justice in the region. The review also aimed at identifying areas that may require additional resources or training for effective enforcement.
