Amaravati, December 17, 2024: The construction of Andhra Pradesh’s capital, Amaravati, is progressing at jet speed. The state government has recently taken another significant step by approving construction works worth ₹24,276 crore.
These funds will be utilized for key infrastructure projects in the capital, including roads, housing, water supply, drainage systems, and electricity supply. Government sources revealed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, efforts to build Amaravati as a world-class capital are ongoing relentlessly.
The main projects include the construction of 200 km of interstate roads, essential infrastructure, public parks, and interconnectivity roads. Additionally, the city’s planning emphasizes green buildings and environmentally friendly projects, according to officials.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu stated, “While accelerating the construction of Amaravati, transparency and quality are our top priorities. We are committed to making Amaravati a symbol of progress for Andhra Pradesh.”
With this new approval, construction work in Amaravati is expected to gain even more momentum.
