New Delhi, April 5, 2025 – Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has called for urgent measures to regulate Artificial Intelligence (AI), stressing the need for transparency and ethical safeguards. Speaking at a national conference on emerging technologies, he highlighted the immense potential of AI to transform various sectors but warned of the risks it poses without proper oversight.
Dhankhar urged collaboration among policymakers, technologists, and global bodies to build a framework that protects human rights and data privacy. He also stressed the importance of public awareness and education to help citizens engage responsibly with AI technologies.
