    New Delhi, December 26, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a national seminar on digital transformation in education, emphasized the importance of equipping India’s youth with advanced skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Highlighting the transformative potential of these technologies, he urged educational institutions and training centers to prioritize skill development programs that prepare youngsters for the rapidly evolving global job market.

    “AI and ML are shaping the future of industries, healthcare, education, and governance. Our young minds need to be ready to innovate and lead in this domain,” said the Prime Minister. He called for public-private partnerships to create state-of-the-art training modules, foster research, and promote innovation in these cutting-edge fields.

    PM Modi also underlined the government’s efforts to integrate AI and ML into flagship programs such as Digital India and Skill India, ensuring that students from urban and rural areas alike have access to opportunities in technology. The seminar brought together tech leaders, academicians, and policymakers, who discussed strategies to bridge the skill gap and strengthen India’s position as a global leader in AI and ML development.
