Narayanpur, February 27, 2025 – The Abujhmad Peace Half Marathon, scheduled for March 2, 2025, aims to promote peace and unity in Narayanpur, a region once affected by Naxal insurgency. Organized by the district administration and police, the event highlights local talent and the area’s natural beauty, with over 8,000 participants registered.
The marathon features 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km races, covering scenic forests and hills from Narayanpur High School Ground to Basing village in Orchha Block. Alongside accommodations and medical support, cultural performances will celebrate Bastar’s heritage, redefining Abujhmad’s image.
