New Delhi, January 6, 2025 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that India’s first bullet train will soon begin operations, revolutionizing travel and infrastructure. Speaking at an event, he highlighted that the high-speed rail service will significantly cut travel time and improve connectivity between major cities.
The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project, funded with assistance from Japan, will cover 508 kilometers. PM Modi emphasized that the project is part of the government’s plan to modernize India’s infrastructure and boost global competitiveness, setting a new standard for technology and efficiency in the country’s transportation sector.
