Undavalli, January 2, 2025 – Nara Lokesh has launched a pioneering initiative by securing accident insurance for Kothimandi workers through an agreement with United Insurance Company. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed in Undavalli, marking the first-ever insurance coverage provided to workers by a political party. The initial premium of Rs. 42 crores covers the insurance from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, with plans to renew the same amount next year.

The workers will benefit from accident insurance of up to Rs. 5 lakh. As the leader of the Welfare Fund, Nara Lokesh has already spent Rs. 138 crores on workers’ welfare. Additionally, a legal department has been set up to assist workers in legal issues, and a special cell is available to support workers injured in accidents.

Nara Lokesh also ensured that the children of deceased workers receive free education, with residential schools established by the NTR Trust in Hyderabad and Chappalapalli, Krishna district. These efforts reflect his ongoing commitment to supporting workers and their families in times of need.
