    Maharashtra: 6 Dead, 17 Injured in Bus and Truck Collision in Jalna District

    Maharashtra: At least six died and 17 others were injured after a collision between an bus and a truck occurred on Friday. The accident occurred near Shahapur on the Wadigodri-Jalna route. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.

    The state transport bus was travelling from Gevrai to Jalna when it collided with a truck carrying oranges that was coming from Ambad. Primary report suggests that accident took place due to overtaking by truck driver.

    Three people including two children died and three others were injured after a Scorpio SUV hit a car going towards Pune. The incident occurred near the toll booth in Limbejalgaon area on Ahadnagar Road on Saturday. Initial investigations suggest that the Scorpio driver crossed the divider, in an inebriated state and struck the car coming from the opposite side.

    The deceased has been identified as Ajay Desarkar, an engineer from Amravati, who was traveling to Pune with his family, when this road accident happened in Limbejalgaon.

    A disturbing incident occurred in Dindrud, near Majalgaon in Beed district, Maharashtra, last Saturday, as captured by CCTV footage. The altercation began when Sakharam Janardan Munde and his associates dined at Vijaba Dhaba Hotel and, after finishing their meal, requested the bill. Instead of paying, they sat in their vehicle, prompting the waiter to bring a bill scanner to the car.

    The situation escalated when a passenger in the vehicle became enraged over the waiter’s actions. The individual grabbed the waiter, dragging him for a kilometre and subjecting him to a severe beating. The attackers further stole approximately ₹11,500 from the waiter’s pocket, continued to assault him, and blindfolded him before transporting him to an undisclosed location.
