Amaravati, December 17, 2024: President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Andhra Pradesh on 17th December 2024. She was warmly welcomed at Gannavaram Airport by Governor Justice Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and senior government officials. The President was honored with a police salute at the airport before proceeding by road to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Mangalagiri.
In Mangalagiri, President Murmu will attend the 49th graduation ceremony at AIIMS, where she will confer degrees to 49 MBBS students. Special recognition will be given to four students, who will receive gold medals for their exceptional academic achievements. To ensure safety and order, the local police in Mangalagiri have enhanced security measures.
After the ceremony, President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to depart from Vijayawada for Hyderabad at 4:15 PM, according to official sources.
