Hyderabad, December 13, 2024: Allu Arjun, the star of Pushpa 2: The Rule, was arrested following a stampede that occurred during the movie’s premiere at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The incident, which happened as fans eagerly gathered to see the actor, led to the tragic death of a woman, Revathi, and left her 13-year-old son, Sri Teja, critically injured. The police have filed charges of culpable homicide and causing hurt through dangerous means against Allu Arjun, his security personnel, and the theatre management.

This panic resulted in people being trapped and suffocated in the lower balcony area, leading to severe injuries and the tragic fatality.
