As the Winter Session of Parliament commenced today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sharply criticized the opposition parties for their repeated disruptions in the House, calling it a hindrance to the smooth functioning of democracy. Addressing the media outside Parliament, PM Modi expressed concern over the opposition’s approach, stating that such disruptions were not in the interest of the people and undermined the important legislative processes.
PM Modi emphasized that the government was committed to addressing the issues raised by the opposition, but it was crucial that discussions take place in a constructive and orderly manner. He urged the opposition to engage in healthy debates and allow Parliament to function effectively for the benefit of the nation.
The Prime Minister also expressed confidence that the session would focus on key issues affecting the country, including economic reforms, national security, and social welfare. He called on all members of Parliament to rise above partisan interests and work together to address the pressing challenges facing the nation.
The opposition, however, remains firm in its stance, reiterating that its protests are based on unresolved issues and the need for accountability from the government. As the session progresses, it remains to be seen how the two sides will navigate their differences in the coming weeks.
