Vijayawada: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has directed party MPs to prioritize securing enhanced central funding and developmental projects for the state. During a meeting at his Undavalli residence on Friday, ahead of the Parliament session starting November 25, Naidu unveiled a strategic roadmap for Andhra Pradesh, focusing on the Vision Document – 2047 and the state’s long-term progress. He urged MPs to collaborate closely with MLAs to maximize their impact.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, addressing the media after the Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party (TDPP) meeting, expressed the party’s commitment to addressing Andhra Pradesh’s critical concerns during the upcoming Parliament session. He criticized former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for allegedly damaging the state’s reputation, which he claimed had led to a decline in investments. He emphasized the TDP’s dedication to reviving the state’s image and attracting fresh investments.
The session will also focus on critical state projects. TDP leader Lavu Sri Krishnadevarayulu highlighted that all 21 NDA MPs from Andhra Pradesh are working to advance state priorities, such as accelerating the Polavaram project and securing Central assistance for Amaravati’s development. Meanwhile, the state government is scrutinizing the SECI agreement and seeking legal clarity regarding its implications.
During the meeting, Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence in the MPs’ performance but urged them to enhance coordination with their respective constituencies’ MLAs. He stressed the importance of leveraging the parliamentary platform to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s future and promote its development agenda.
