NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday called on voters in Maharashtra and Jharkhand to participate enthusiastically in the ongoing elections, describing it as a significant moment for strengthening democracy. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he encouraged citizens to vote in large numbers, particularly urging women and young voters to contribute to the electoral process.
Modi highlighted the importance of first-time voters, referring to each vote as a pillar of strength for the state. He stressed that the active participation of young voters would be key to shaping the future of both states.
