NEW DELHI: Under the visionary PM-JANMAN scheme launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, electricity has now been successfully provided to 83,596 households of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) across India’s most remote and inaccessible regions. This initiative is part of the government’s continued efforts to ensure that even the most marginalized and isolated communities are integrated into the country’s development progress.
The electrification project marks a significant step in improving the quality of life for these tribal communities, providing them access to basic services and opportunities for better education, healthcare, and economic development. The scheme is also expected to boost local economies by fostering infrastructure development and improving living conditions in these far-flung areas.
This achievement reflects the government’s commitment to inclusivity and sustainable development, ensuring that no community is left behind in the nation’s growth trajectory.
