At the conference, discussions were held about women’s inequality, harassment faced by women public representatives, and other related issues. Purandeswari suggested that there should be continuous discussions with women public representatives and training sessions to empower them with self-confidence. She also mentioned that the Commonwealth meeting focused on cybercrime control and technical cooperation between countries in this regard.

BJP Leader Bhanuprakash Reddy Criticizes Jagan Over Social Media Posts

BJP State Spokesperson and TTD Board Member Bhanuprakash Reddy criticized Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for promoting social media posts in the last five years. He questioned why Jagan did not respond to obscene posts and videos circulated on social media and accused senior leaders of the YSR Congress Party of promoting such vulgar posts. He also pointed out that the coalition government is now taking legal actions to curb such activities.

Reddy clarified that services from non-Hindu individuals working in TTD departments are unnecessary. He also took a dig at Jagan Mohan Reddy’s demand for the opposition status, questioning whether he is aware of the rules regarding such status. Reddy argued that the people, not the government, decide whether someone should hold the position of Chief Minister or Opposition Leader. He pointed out that Jagan’s administration, during his previous tenure as Chief Minister, was chaotic, leading to his loss of power. Reddy further noted that Jagan has now become merely an MLA from Pulivendula and is avoiding assembly sessions while making criticism. He urged the people of Pulivendula to hold Jagan accountable.
