NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam Meets CM Chandrababu Naidu to Discuss Swarnandhra Vision Document 2047
In a meeting at the Secretariat, NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu discussed the Swarnandhra Vision Document 2047. Key officials from NITI Aayog, including advisors and directors, as well as the state’s Finance Minister, P. Keshav, and senior officers from various departments, attended the discussion.
The agenda focused on strategic planning for development across multiple sectors, emphasizing the implementation of central government schemes. CM Naidu outlined the ambitious Swarnandhra Vision 2047, which aims for a 15% annual growth rate, positioning Andhra Pradesh to become a $2.4 trillion economy by 2047. This vision document has been prepared with comprehensive plans at the state, district, and constituency levels to drive long-term economic growth and prosperity in Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Minister briefed the NITI Aayog CEO on action plans prepared to achieve growth in sectors like agriculture and aquaculture. He emphasized that these plans focus on the government’s priority areas: poverty alleviation, improving the ease of living, developing social infrastructure, demographic management, and leveraging growth engines like data centers and artificial intelligence. The CM clarified that these initiatives are designed to drive growth rates effectively through strategic implementation, helping achieve overall development across the state.
