    Terrorists Target 2 Army Vehicles in J&K’s Akhnoor, Search Operation Underway

    Srinagar:On October 28, 2024, in the Akhnoor region of Jammu and Kashmir, three terrorists opened fire on two Indian Army vehicles. The targeted vehicles included an ambulance and an army gypsy in the Battal area. Despite the intensity of the attack, with over a dozen rounds fired, no injuries or casualties were reported.

    In response, the Indian Army and local police launched a comprehensive search operation in the vicinity. The operation is focused on the border areas, especially around Khour village, following reports of the presence of the attackers.

    The search operation aims to track down the terrorists, believed to have infiltrated from across the border. Locals reported hearing gunfire near the Assan temple, which heightened the security alert. The authorities have cordoned off the area to ensure the safety of residents and facilitate a thorough sweep.
