    ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTIONS DEMOLISHED

Amaravati: Heavy police presence was observed in Uddandarayunipalem village of Tulluru Mandal as CRDA (Capital Region Development Authority) officials moved to demolish illegal constructions. The structures, which included a shed and a volleyball court, were allegedly built illegally on CRDA land by former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MP Nandigam Suresh during his tenure as an MP.

CRDA officials took action against these constructions, stating that they were unauthorized and built on land designated for development purposes. The demolition process drew attention due to the involvement of a prominent political figure, leading to a tense atmosphere in the area. The move is part of a broader initiative by the CRDA to reclaim land and ensure compliance with regulations in the Amaravati region.
