On Wednesday, during the summit, Russia’s Foreign Ministry faced cyber attacks, as stated by the official representative, Maria Zakharova. She revealed that the attacks were significant in scale.
On the other hand, several world leaders, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Chinese President Xi Jinping, attended the BRICS Summit. He stressed the need for reforms in international organizations like the United Nations Security Council, international banks, and the World Trade Organization. He clarified that the intention is not to completely change these global institutions but to reform them. He highlighted the importance of ensuring security in areas such as drinking water, food, energy, and healthcare for all countries. He also called for international efforts to establish regulations on cyber security and safe artificial intelligence.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin noted that 30 countries are interested in joining the coalition. He praised India’s economic growth, stating that India serves as an example for BRICS countries. He commended Modi, highlighting that while many speak about achieving high economic growth, Modi has successfully demonstrated it in practice.
