Amaravati, October 18: The meeting of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) representatives began on Friday at the party’s central office, NTR Bhavan. Chief Minister and party leader Chandrababu Naidu paid tribute to the statue of NTR and inaugurated the program. Speaking on this occasion, the CM emphasized that everyone should understand why this meeting is drawing interest from the entire state. He stressed the need to regularly review their work and make decisions with the party’s future in mind. He advised that everyone should uphold the trust with which the people voted for them. He also mentioned the need to address the concerns of party workers who have suffered and faced hardships over the last five years. Even though he has taken on the role of Chief Minister for the fourth time, he remarked that he has never seen a situation before where the systems, including the officials, have been so badly affected.
The State Will Again Become a Ravana Effigy…
He stated that the disruption of systems and limited resources are causing delays in setting things right. He mentioned that no proper audit has been conducted in any department. He criticized the diversion of central funds as per their whims. He emphasized that the results of the upcoming elections and the majority will depend on how we conduct ourselves now. He pointed out that everyone should understand how the YSRCP, which once won 151 seats, has now dropped to 11 due to its misdeeds.
“If we follow the same path, the state will again become like a Ravana effigy… Those who made mistakes should not be let go, but we should also not resort to vengeance. This distinction needs to be understood. Only by working as a united force can we meet the expectations of the people. Everyone should remember that if anyone in the NDA makes a mistake, the consequences will fall on the Chief Minister. It takes time to build trust for a leader… but it takes just a moment to ruin it. This formula applies to everyone, including myself. The Prime Minister’s five-hour participation in yesterday’s NDA Chief Ministers’ meeting was a signal that we are preparing for the upcoming elections. We should follow the same principle here,” he clarified.
**”Due to the misrule over the past five years, everyone—including me, the people, and the leaders—has suffered hardships. Just because we have won, if we think that our job is done, we will face many challenges,” Chandrababu Naidu stated. “Around 65 new MLAs, including youth and educated individuals, have joined, and 18 out of the ministers are new. Just as every household has small issues that need to be resolved, it is natural for a party, which is like a family, to experience the same,” he explained. The program was attended by TDP MLAs, MPs, MLCs, constituency in-charges, and politburo members.
Game Changer with 6 Policies
He warned that if party leaders make the same mistakes in the sand and liquor policies as the YSRCP did, he would not remain silent. He said that if the public starts doubting us, it would be a problem for both the party and the leaders. He emphasized that discipline is necessary for everyone when it comes to sand and liquor matters. He mentioned that the Magunta family has been in the liquor business for a long time, and except for such people, others would not be allowed to newly enter the liquor business. He said that the YSRCP leaders have hoarded bags full of money through their misdeeds in the liquor business. “If we lack integrity, no election can be won with just money. I will speak with everyone again about the policies on liquor and sand. We will establish at least one industrial park, if not more, in every constituency. We will set up industrial parks with the participation of farmers. If developers come forward to develop farmers’ lands, we will make the farmers partners in the industries, bringing changes to their lives. We are spending nearly ₹700 crore to fill the pits that the YSRCP has left behind. Even though the YSRCP has piled up tons of garbage in villages and towns, our leaders are not paying attention or speaking up. It is the responsibility of the leaders to resolve any issues that arise for the party workers. Just as the Super 6 schemes in the elections, the government has introduced Super 6 policies. These policies are going to be a game changer,” he said.
I Can’t Resolve Everything Myself…
“If we want to win again in 2029, we need to integrate with the NDA. I will involve the MLAs in government programs. Along with the work done by the state government, we need to communicate the work done by the central government to the people. The coordination of the three parties, with discussions between the presidents when needed, will be ensured. In the 41 constituencies where TDP has no MLAs, we must not only support the TDP but also stand by our alliance partners’ MLAs. If everyone goes their own way, we will face difficulties when elections come again. Therefore, coordination among the three parties in every constituency is necessary. If every problem comes directly to me and I have to resolve it, it will not work. Ministers must take responsibility for this. A special system should be established to resolve public grievances and build trust among the affected. If a request cannot be fulfilled, we must provide an explanation as to why it is not possible, and we must resolve every request that can be addressed,” clarified CM Chandrababu Naidu.
