From now on, there will be no optional questions – a big change in the JEE Main exam!

JEE Main 2025 Exam Structure: Significant changes are set to occur in the JEE Main exam format. The National Testing Agency announced this on Thursday. It revealed that there will be no optional questions in Section B from now on. During the pandemic, in light of the obstacles students faced in preparing for exams, the NTA made changes in the 2021 JEE Mains. It provided students with the option to answer 5 out of 10 questions in Section B.

The same format continued until 2024. However, it has recently been announced that there will be no optional questions in the 2025 JEE exam. The NTA clarified that the exam will revert to the format used before 2021. It stated that only 5 questions will be given in Section B, and students will be required to answer all five.

For any information or updates, students are advised to visit the NTA website at nta.ac.in or the JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
