‘People Make Mistakes’: BJP MP Advises Salman Khan To Apologise To Bishnoi Community

Bharatiya Janata Party MP Harnath Singh Yadav requested Bollywood star Salman Khan to apologise to the Bishnoi community for an incident which happened 20 years ago. Harnath was referring to the blackbuck incident.

This come after NCP leader and Salman Khan’s friend, Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai by the members of Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Taking to X, BJP MP wrote in Hindi, “Dear Salman Khan, the Bishnoi community worships the blackbuck and considers it a diety. You hunted it, cooked it and ate it. Because of this, the sentiments of the Bishnoi community were hurt and there is an anger against you.”

“People make mistakes. You are a big actor, a large number of people in the country love you. My good advice to you is that you should respect the sentiments of the Bishnoi community and Apologise to them for your big mistake,” he added.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the killing of Baba Siddique. The former state minister was gunned down outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East on Saturday. Baba Siddique was a prominent politician from the Ajit Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party and a former three-time MLA from Bandra West.
A Facebook account named Shubbu Lonkar Maharashtra claimed responsibility for the murder, accusing actor Salman Khan of starting a “war”. Notably, Siddique enjoyed close ties with Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who has been on the hit list of the Bishnoi gang since 1999. The politician has been pushing for enhanced security for Salman Khan ever since the actor began receiving threats.
