    Encounter Breaks Out With JeM Terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir’s Kathua, 3 to 4 Militants Trapped

    Kathua: A massive encounter broke out between the security forces and the terrorists in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) on Saturday ahead of the Assembly polls in the district. According to police sources, the encounter broke out in the Billawar area of Kathua after the security forces established contact with the terrorists reportedly linked to the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in the Dhana Parole Area of Billawar. 

    As per the reports, the firing is underway between the terrorists and the security forces in the Dhana Parole Area of Billawar. It is being claimed that around 3 to 4 terrorists of the JeM are trapped by the security forces. Notably, people in Kathua will vote on October 1 in the third phase of the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
