Gudivada, May 22, 2025 – The central government has allocated Rs. 400 crore under the Railway Gati Shakti scheme to tackle traffic congestion caused by railway gates in Gudivada town. MLA Venigandla Ramu, during a review meeting at the local RDO office, announced plans to build eight railway overbridges and underpasses in the constituency to improve traffic flow and address public concerns.
The meeting involved discussions on land acquisition challenges using Google Maps data, with MLA Ramu acknowledging MP Vallabhaneni Balashouri’s key role in securing the funds. Officials from various departments, including National Highways and Revenue, participated, and the MLA urged them to fast-track the project’s completion to benefit the local community.
