Mumbai, April 26, 2025 – Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced that the Kandivali Skill Development Centre has facilitated the placement of 12,400 jobs in six months. Speaking in Mumbai, Goyal emphasized the centre’s role in enhancing employability by providing sector-specific training to young individuals, in line with the government’s Skill India initiative.
The centre’s success in bridging the skill gap and creating job opportunities was praised by Goyal, who also noted that similar centres would be expanded nationwide to offer more training and placement opportunities, aiming to equip youth with skills needed for the evolving job market.
