New Delhi, April 25, 2025 – Union Home Minister Amit Shah has directed all Chief Ministers (CMs) across India to identify Pakistani nationals residing in their respective states and ensure their return to Pakistan. This directive comes amid heightened security concerns and the ongoing efforts to strengthen national security. Shah emphasized that state governments must cooperate with the central government in this matter and take necessary steps to track down and facilitate the repatriation of these individuals.
The move has raised discussions on the security protocols for foreign nationals in India, with the Home Ministry stressing the importance of strict enforcement. Amit Shah urged CMs to expedite the identification process and take all required actions to safeguard the country’s interests.
